The ICOH Webinar Series is a CPD-accredited professional training programme designed to support continuous professional development through high-quality online learning. Participants can earn up to 2 CPD credits per hour of attendance. To be eligible for CPD credits, participants must attend the entire webinar and complete a mandatory post-event feedback form, which will appear on screen at the end of the session. As part of their membership benefits, ICOH members in good standing are granted complimentary access to the full ICOH Webinar Series, available on demand in Private Area of the ICOH website.

Non-ICOH members are welcome to participate and may register for individual webinars at a fee of CHF 25.00 per session.

Occupational Cancer: From the Clinical Case to Population Surveillance and Prevention

This webinar offers a comprehensive journey through the key challenges of occupational cancer, moving from an overview of the global burden of the disease to clinical recognition, epidemiological detection and effective prevention strategies.

Through a multidisciplinary perspective, the session will explore how occupational cancers can be recognized in clinical practice, including through a real-world case, and how epidemiological studies can help identify occupational cancer signals within the general population. Particular attention will be given to the role of occupational health nursing and occupational medicine in prevention, disease management and supporting return to work after cancer, as well as to the contribution of industrial hygiene to primary prevention.

The webinar will also highlight the importance of multi-professional collaboration in addressing occupational cancer and will look ahead to emerging priorities for research, policy and practice. By the end of the session, participants will have gained a broader understanding of the global burden of occupational cancer, the challenges associated with its prevention, and the complementary roles of clinical practice, epidemiology, occupational health and industrial hygiene in strengthening prevention and improving occupational health outcomes.
