In occasion of the ICOH 2022 digital Congress, a partial fellowship to attend the ILO Master in Occupational Safety and Health (International Training Centre of the ILO in collaboration with the University of Turin, Italy) will be assigned for two ICOH candidates from developing countries who will present a scientific contribution at the congress. The partial economic support will cover the accommodation and breakfast on the campus of the International Training Centre of the ILO in Turin (ITC-ILO), Italy during the residential phase of 11 weeks.

When submitting an abstract to ICOH 2022 Congress, participants interested in the ILO Master have the possibility to apply for the ILO Master Fellowship. Applicants complying with criteria set out (ICOH members in good standing from developing countries; who have presented a scientific contribution to ICOH 2022 Congress) will be contacted by ICOH Secretariat in order to ask for an extended CV and check if they have the requirements for admission to the programme (hold a first university degree (BA) of minimum three years duration, a working knowledge of spoken and written English, the ability and access to use computer and Internet). They will also be requested to submit a written statement duly signed where they declare that, in case of winning the fellowship, they commit themselves to attend the Master and they are aware they will receive a partial grant for a value of 4,235€ to cover the accommodation and breakfast on the campus of ITC/ILO. Therefore, the winner will have to self-fund or find other funding sources for the training costs, the transport from/to participant’s country of origin for the residential phase in Turin, and any other costs related to the participation in the Master course, which will not anyway be funded by ICOH.

In order to assign the two partial fellowships during the ICOH Congress 2022, a Screening Committee will be appointed for evaluating the scientific contributions. Applicants will be informed in due time about procedure and evaluation criteria.
