Graduate in 1982 in Chemistry
from Rome University. Specialized in Clinical
Biochemistry. From 1983 to 1993 worked in R&D of
pharmaceutical companies. Research Director of INAIL (the Italian
Institute against Accidents at work) until December 2025.
Member of: the Italian National Ordine dei Chimici,
AIDII (Associazione Italiana degli Igienisti
Industriali), ICOH.
She has carried out several research projects
regarding the biological monitoring of exposure to
chemical agents, is expert of HPLC/MS/MS, recently was
involved in research projects regarding the exposure
to solar radiation and electromagnetic fields.
She has held lessons and seminars about risk
assessment for chemical agents by means of biological
monitoring in several Italian Universities
and is author of more than 150 peer reviewed publications on
occupational toxicology.
Now retired, she is active as Science Ambassador to bring Occupational Hygiene and
Toxicology to everyone who needs them, all over the world.
