I am a Senior Lecturer and Public Health Medicine Specialist (Occupational Health) at a
Malaysian public university, with academic training in medicine and public health from the
University of Nottingham (UK) and the University of Malaya. I hold a Doctor of Public
Health and have over a decade of experience in academia, public health practice, and
occupational health services.
My research interests include occupational health, psychosocial hazards, occupational
health psychology, and workplace mental health. I have published over 30 papers in
international peer-reviewed journals and have contributed as a consultant for national OSH
programs and guidelines under the Department of Occupational Safety and Health
Malaysia. My leadership experience includes heading a hospital Occupational Safety and
Health Unit and serving as Deputy Chairman of a faculty-level OSH committee. I am a
registered Public Health Medicine Specialist and a Board Member of the National Conjoint
Board Public Health Malaysia.
