I am an Assistant Professor in Dept of Community Health at St. John’s
Medical College, Bangalore, India, with over seven years of experience
in occupational and public health. I hold an MD and DNB in
Community Medicine and was a Fogarty NIH GloCal Health Fellow
(2023–24). My work focuses on occupational health, mental health,
and workplace well-being, particularly among industrial and migrant
worker populations. I have led several large-scale industry-linked
projects, including the SAKHI Menstrual Rights and Apple Health
initiatives, promoting reproductive and mental health across factories
in India. I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and
presented my work at national and international conferences,
including ICOH and EPICOH. I also serve as an Infection Control
Officer in my hospital and am an active member of professional bodies
such as the International Commission on Occupational Health and
IAOH. My work emphasizes preventive health, implementation
science, and strengthening workplace health systems.
