Diana Cuervo, MD, PhD
Diana Cuervo is an occupational health physician, specialist in
social security law, and PhD in public health based in Colombia.
She serves as a member of the National Disability Rating Boar
(Colombia) and as National Secretary of the International
Commission on Occupational Health.
Her work focuses on bridging clinical practice, public health, and
legal frameworks to improve work disability prevention, return-
to-work strategies, and social protection systems. She has led
interdisciplinary initiatives connecting academia, employers,
insurers, and policymakers across Latin America.
Dr. Cuervo is an international speaker and educator, actively
promoting inclusive, evidence-based, and people-centered
occupational health approaches. She has contributed to global
discussions on disability prevention and workplace sustainability
through conferences and committees.
Her leadership emphasizes collaboration across disciplines,
regions, and sectors, with a strong commitment to expanding
access to knowledge and strengthening occupational health
systems globally.
