Medical Doctor and Specialist in Occupational and Environmental
Medicine at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the
University of Guadalajara. She holds a Master’s degree in
Occupational Health and a Doctorate in Occupational Health
Sciences. She is a National Researcher recognized by CONAHCYT
(SNI) and Associate Researcher at IMSS. Her academic work
includes teaching, mentoring research projects, and guiding
scientific publications in the Occupational and Environmental
Medicine Residency Program. She has over 18 years of
professional experience in occupational risk prevention,
ergonomics, toxicology, and labor health assessment. Her current
research focuses on pneumoconiosis, work-related mental
disorders, lead exposure, and workers’ reintegration processes.
Member of the ICOH and the Inter-American Center for Social
Security Studies (CIESS), she actively promotes evidence-based
occupational health and interdisciplinary collaboration in Latin
America.
