I am a medical doctor (2007) with a specialty degree in Internal Medicine (2013) and a
subspecialty degree in Occupational Medicine (2017). I currently work as an Associate
Professor in Occupational Medicine at Health Sciences University, Bilkent City Hospital
(Ankara).
Previously, I served at the Turkish Ministry of Health, Public Health General Directorate, first
as Head of the Workers’ Health Department (2022–2024) and later as Deputy General
Director (2023–2024), where I was responsible for national policies and programmes related
to occupational health, health workforce protection, and public health preparedness.
I have over fifteen years of combined experience in clinical practice, academic teaching,
research, and health policy implementation.
