PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS / CONCLUSIONS / RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Tobbaco smoking can be considered an "occupational hazard"
2. The extent of exposure and effects can be evaluated
3. An exposure limit value (TLV) can be set (Observation = according to a committee of experts at the Helsinki European Conference, the limit should be ZERO)
4. The next ICOH Congress will be officially a Non-Smoking Congress
5. ICOH 2003 Congress (venue: Iguassu – Brazil) will have a mini-symposia or a key note address related to this issue.

8. May, 2001 = Berlin Conference on Smoke Free Workplaces will have ICOH support, and Gustav Schaecke, on behlaf of ICOH, will present our project.
