PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS / CONCLUSIONS / RECOMMENDATIONS:

1. Tobbaco smoking can be considered an "occupational hazard"
2. The extent of exposure and effects can be evaluated

4. The next ICOH Congress will be officially a Non-Smoking Congress
5. ICOH 2003 Congress (venue: Iguassu – Brazil) will have a mini-symposia or a key note address related to this issue.
6. The ICOH Website will have information related to this Network
7. Establish partnerships with other organizations; first contact is already done with ILO ( Alcohol, Drug and Tobacco Prevention Programmes = Judith Peterson) and ENSP (European Network for Smoking Prevention) = Sibylle Fleitmann.
8. May, 2001 = Berlin Conference on Smoke Free Workplaces will have ICOH support, and Gustav Schaecke, on behlaf of ICOH, will present our project.
