ICOH supports the COP28 statement calling for comprehensive climate action
December 6th, 2023ICOH, alongside the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and European Lung Foundation (ELF), signed a joint statement on the tight links between climate and health, sent to governments attending COP28 on 30 November – 12 December. It has also been signed and endorsed by more than 60 other medical, public health and scientific societies, patient representative organisations and experts. Read more
Deadline extended - Bid Submission for ICOH 2030 Congress
October 31, 2023Considering that bids to compete for the venue of ICOH2030 submitted are not fully compliant with the provisions of ICOH Bye-Law 7, Section 2, the deadline for bid submission is extended until 15 January 2024 to allow the bidding committees to collect and submit all mandatory documents.
The interested bidding committees must send their complete bidding package to the ICOH Secretariat General icoh@inail.it by that date.

Global call for monitoring workers’ health in The Lancet
Global call for monitoring workers’ health in The Lancet Occupational health experts from WHO and countries have called for data and monitoring systems of workers’ health to improve monitoring of progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. The call was published in The Lancet (available here) as part of the Lancet Series on Work and Health (available here).Read more
Announcement of the candidates for the elections of ICOH Officers and members of the Board for Triennium 2024-2027
The candidates must be eligible under Article 5, section 2 and 8 of the ICOH Constitution. The Officers and the members of the Board shall be elected as set forth in the Bye-Laws for the period separating sessions of the General Assembly. They may be re-elected to the same office for no more than one additional term, with exception of the Secretary-General, who may be elected for more than one additional term. The newly elected Officers take office at the General Assembly convened immediately after the ICOH 2024 Congress. A member of the ICOH can be a candidate for one post only at a time.Read more
