World Health Assembly elects Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as new WHO Director-General

On 23 May 2017, the Members States of the World Health Organization (WHO) elected Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as the new Director-General of WHO.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was nominated by the Government of Ethiopia, and will begin his five-year term on 1 July 2017.

ICOH warmly congratulates the new WHO Director General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, dedicating him a tweet:

World Day for Safety and Health at Work: 28 April 2017

We are proud to celebrate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work with the International Labour Organization (ILO). We believe that the theme of this year “Optimize the Collection and Use of Occupational Safety and Health Data” is relevant all over the world.

The International Commission on Occupational Health, ICOH, is proud to endorse the ILO call for action to improve the capacity of countries, stakeholders and workplaces to collect and utilize reliable occupational safety and health data.

ILO Master Fellowship in conjunction with ICOH 2018 Congress
