A study on ICOH Repository published in Safety and Health at Work (SH@W)
“Making the Difference in Occupational Health: Three Original and Significant Cases Presented at ICOH Congresses in the 20th Century”: this is the title of the study which illustrates the historical role of the ICOH Congresses as the first example of scientific transferability of the research and prevention results that have had such an impact on global public health. Global survey on health and safety of health workers in COVID-19
WHO′s department of Occupational and Workplace Health, in collaboration with the ICOH Scientific Committee on Occupational Health for Health Workers, have compiled a survey of health and safety of health workers during the COVID-19 crisis. The survey is very short (takes about 7 minutes) and is basically a needs assessment to focus on the topics that our peers around the world identify as most important. The procedure for the determination of the venue of the ICOH 2027 Congress, which was to be carried out in these months, is postponed to 2021 following the decision of the postponement of the next ICOH Congress to 2022.The process and deadlines for bid submission are indicated in the Guidelines for ICOH Congress Organization, which can be downloaded from the “Core Documents” sections of this website, and will be published again in the ICOH Newsletter and Website at a later stage.
COVID-Response: WHO’s quick survey on training and upskilling needs for Health Workers
Through the WHO Academy, the World Health Organization is rapidly upscaling training via a number of digital, easily accessible learning applications.
