ICOH declaration on World Day for Safety and Health at Work: 28 April 2014

The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) renews its call for joint actions for developing occupational health and safety programmes meeting the changing needs at the workplace in globalizing economy. In the declaration, Dr. Kogi conveys ICOH congratulations to the 95th Anniversary of the ILO. The theme of the 2014 World Day, Safety and health in the use of chemicals at work, is very timely, and ICOH called in a renewed manner for reinforced joint work for effectively preventing work-related injuries and diseases particularly in dealing with new technologies and chemicals.

President Kogi expresses his warm congratulations to ILO for the long-standing collaboration with our organization in the field of occupational health and safety. He pledges full support and continued cooperation with the ILO programmes to promote health and safety of workers worldwide.
