ICOH Mid-term Meeting
8 – 10February 2014 – Helsinki, Finland
The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH) kindly decided to support ICOH in the organization of the Mid-term Meeting held in conjunction with the International Conference on Monitoring and Surveillance of Asbestos-Related Diseases in the popular and reliable venue of Hanasaari Cultural Centre Espoo, Finland.
ICOH Officers, Board Members and Scientific Committees officers, attended the ICOH Mid-term from 8 to 10 February, 2014.
During the three days ICOH Officers and Board Members reported on Scientific Committees, National Secretaries, Task Groups and Working Groups activities as well as International Communication and Information Technology Network and relationships with WHO, ILO and other relevant NGOs. Updates on the forthcoming ICOH Congresses, with particular regard to ICOH 2015 (Seoul) and ICOH 2018 (Dublin) have been delivered by the Chairs of Organizing Committees, respectively, but an important goal has been achieved with reference to the ICOH Code of Ethics since its last version has been approved. Future ICOH steps on this matter concern the ICOH Code of Ethics translation and its dissemination, above all in the perspective of next ICOH 2015 Congress.
