ICOH Working Group on Participatory Approaches in Occupational Health

ICOH President, Dr. Kazutaka Kogi, appointed members of the ICOH Working Group on Participatory Approaches in Occupational Health for the triennium of 2009-2012 that will be composed by Dr. Khai, Ms. Buckheit, Dr. Hasle, Mr. Husberg, Dr. Itani, Ms. Sudthida, Ms. Maciel and Dear Dr. Woo.

The Working Group is chaired by Dr. Ton That Khai and will focus on the following tasks:

1) Advise the Officers and the Board on activities for the promotion of participatory approaches in occupational health;

2) Review the national and international programmes applying participatory approaches in the field of occupational health and safety and propose ICOH action needed;

3) Examine the needs for improving and supporting participatory approaches in occupational health and propose international support measures needed;

4) Produce guidelines on participatory approaches in occupational health practice.
