The ICOH Board approved an ICOH Statement on Protecting the Occupational Safety and Health of Migrant Workers on 27 May 2022.

The final wording is the result of a joint effort by the ICOH Working Group on Future of Decent Work, ICOH Scientific Committee on Thermal Factors, ICOH Scientific Committee on Occupational Health in Small-Scale Enterprises and the Informal Sector, the ICOH Officers and Board members.
