New ICOH Honorary Members

On May 31st 2015, the ICOH General Assembly designated the new ICOH honorary members.

ICOH announces newly elected Officers and Board Members who will serve for triennium 2015-2018

The Officers are: President Dr. Jukka Takala, Secretary General Prof. Sergio Iavicoli, Vice President Dr. Marilyn Fingerhut, Vice President Dr. Seong-Kyu Kang, Past President Dr. Kazutaka Kogi.

ICOH CONGRESS 2015 – Seoul, Republic of Korea

The 31st International Congress on Occupational Health took place in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from May 31 to June 5 2015.
The Congress had a great success thanks to the attendance of 3203 participants among professionals and students in OHS field. 1631 abstracts were confirmed from more than 2000 submitted, and 172 of them were presented at plenary sessions.

ICOH Life Achievement Award

During the Opening Ceremony of the ICOH 2015 Congress in Seoul, the ICOH Secretary General, Prof. Sergio Iavicoli, awarded Prof. Jerry Jeyaratnam, former Secretary General of ICOH, visionary researcher and educator and mentor in occupational health at the National University of Singapore. The Opening Ceremony was attended by more than 3000 participants and has achieved a recognized success.

ICOH new website is now online!

ICOH new website is finally online with a new, more responsive layout to facilitate the reading through tablet or smartphone. The website will be able to adapt dynamically to all types of devices. Furthermore, new ICOH apps for iOS and Android are now available for free download, with new tools for ICOH members.

ICOH Congress 2015 is upcoming

The ICOH Congress 2015 will take place in Seoul (Republic of Korea) from May 31 to June 5.
Aiming at global harmony for occupational health, the Congress will be an important milestone in meeting our challenges in protecting and promoting the health of workers at the time of rapid changes in work life and working conditions in globalizing economy.

ICOH 2015 - Announcement and Agenda of the ICOH General Assembly

We are approaching the Congress in Seoul with large attendance. We would like to invite all ICOH members in good standing to participate in the General Assembly scheduled for Sunday 31st May 2015 at 2:00 p.m. (check in time from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.), 3F Auditorium, at the COEX Convention Center, World Trade Center Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 135-731 Korea.

ICOH declaration on World Day for Safety and Health at Work: 28 April 2015

The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) calls for joint actions for preventing occupational and work-related injuries and diseases and for building a culture of prevention by meeting the changing needs at the workplace around the world.

ICOH Code of Ethics third edition is finally out for download

All participants to ICOH Congress 2015 will receive an hard copy of the Code in the congress kit, while the dissemination and translation into languages other than English and French, will start from the new triennium. Since its first publishing, ICOH Code of Ethics was widely recognized, and it is intended to guide all those who carry out occupational health activities and to set a reference level on the basis of which their performance can be assessed.
