Dr Lim Yin Cheng is a medical lecturer of occupational and
public health at the University Malaya since 2021. To date, Dr.
Lim has secured over USD 686,000 in research grants,
supervised 15 PhD students (3 graduated) and 16 master’s
students (12 graduated), and published 21 indexed articles.
Among his notable projects, Dr. Lim served as the PI for a
nationwide study on facial anthropometric data for Malaysians.
This research led to four high-impact publications and the
development of Malaysia-specific N95 respirators. His
contributions were internationally recognized at the 34th ICOH
Congress in 2024, where Dr. Lim received the prestigious ICOH-
International Labour Organisation Master Fellowship Award.
Additionally, Dr. Lim has contributed to the FutureLearn
platform, developing and delivering online courses on
occupational health. His dedication to research and education
makes him a deserving candidate for the Universiti Malaya
Excellent Certificate 2023 and MBBS Best Lecturer Award
2024.
