Johanet Uys is a highly experienced and award-winning
occupational health professional with over three decades of
healthcare service. She currently serves as Senior Occupational
Health Nurse at Fruitways Farming (Pty) Ltd, overseeing four
clinics and leading strategic health and wellness initiatives for
4000+ employees. Her qualifications include a BHSc in Nursing
Systems Science (cum laude), a Diploma in Occupational Health
Nursing (cum laude), and she is currently pursuing a
Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health. She holds numerous
certifications in ergonomics, spirometry, audiometry, health risk
assessment, and more. Her extensive career spans roles in
clinical nursing, occupational health consulting, and public
health across private and municipal sectors. She has held
leadership roles in SASOHN and contributed to professional
education and policy development. Known for her analytical
skill, training expertise, and strong ethical standards, Johanet is
passionate about advancing occupational health practices and
improving employee well-being in diverse industrial
environments.
