Graduate in 1982 in Organic-Biological Chemistry
from Rome University. Specialized in Clinical
Biochemistry. From 1983 to 1993 worked in R&D of
pharmaceutical companies. Confirmed researcher of the
Occupational Hygiene Department of ISPESL (the Italian
Institute for Occupational Prevention and Safety)
since 1994, Senior researcher since 2003.
Member of: the Italian National Ordine dei Chimici,
AIDII (Associazione Italiana degli Igienisti
Industriali),SIVR (Societą Italiana Valori di
Riferimento), ICOH, and European Registered
Toxicologist since April 2008.
She has carried out several research projects
regarding the biological monitoring of exposure to
chemical agents, is expert of HPLC/MS/MS, recently was
involved in research projects regarding the exposure
to solar radiation and electromagnetic fields.
She has held lessons and seminars about risk
assessment for chemical agents by means of biological
monitoring both in ISPESL and in Italian Universities
and is author of several peer reviewed publications on
occupational toxicology.
