After graduation from Therapeutic Faculty of Pirogov Russian National
Scientific Medical University (1987) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
(1990), he worked in the Department of non-
communicable diseases epidemiology in Russian Scientific Centre for
Preventive Medicine. Recently he has been working as Deputy Director for organizational
work and international cooperation at Izmerov Research Institute of
Occupational Health, at the same time he is Executive Director of the
Occupational Health Physicians and Specialists Association (Russia).
He is also the Executive Secretary of “Occupation and Health” Russian
National Congress with international participation.
In 2018 he became ICOH National Secretary for Russian Federation
(2018-2021).
The main interests of recent times are related to the study of the
history of occupational health.
He is the author of more than 50 scientific publications in Russian and
world journals.
He completes his doctoral thesis on the formation and development of
occupational health in Russia.
