I am an occupational medicine practitioner at Tongaat Hulett,
Hippo Valley Estates since 2008. Our organization is in the agro-
processing industry. Core business include growing sugar cane
and milling to produce sugar.
I hold the following qualifications;
1. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (University of Zimbabwe)
2. Master Occupational Health and Safety (University of Turin)
3. MSc International Management specializing in Managing
Health Systems (University of Liverpool)
4. Numerous courses in OHS e.g. International Risk Assessment,
Biological Monitoring, Auditing, Accident Investigation, OHSAS
18001, ISO 14000
Some of my duties include;
1. overall management and strategic direction of the
Occupational Health department
2. Management of key stakeholder relations
3. Development and implementation of the organizational health
risk management strategies
4. Management of workman compensation
5. Recruitment and selection of health services personnel
6. Financial management of the departmental budget
