Dr. Akanksha Rathi is a young preventive health expert with an
experience of over 7 years in the preventive healthcare field. Her
primary areas are teaching, research and healthcare service
provision. She has done her graduation (MBBS) and master's degree
(MD - Community Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College,
New Delhi.
She is currently working as an assistant professor in Dr Baba Saheb
Ambedkar medical college, where she is laying the foundation of
the newly formed department.
Her current research interests include diabetes, vaccination and
occupational health and she is a part of various on-going projects.
To name a few: Mental Health Assessment of professional cab
drivers in the national capital region, Knowledge, attitude and
practices of parents about IPV vaccine, & Prevalence of Autonomic
neuropathy among diabetic patients. She has 20 scientific
publications in national and international journals and is an editorial
board member of 10 journals.
