Professional Support Staff member (CPA) at CONICET, based at
INQUISAL (CCT CONICET San Luis, Argentina), with a dual
affiliation to the National University of San Luis (UNSL). Holds a
Licentiate degree in Occupational Safety, Hygiene and
Environmental Control, with postgraduate training in toxicology
(toxicokinetics, toxicodynamics, chemical carcinogenesis and
ecotoxicology) and further training in occupational toxicology,
chemical incident management and control of exposure to
chemical agents. Coordinates the Health and Safety Committee
of CCT CONICET San Luis, addressing chemical risk surveys in
laboratories, safety procedures and staff training. As an
analytical chemist, operates a UHPLC-Orbitrap system for the
determination of toxic contaminants in food; his master’s thesis
in Analytical Chemistry (UNSL), submitted for defense, focuses
on mycotoxins in edible oils. Teaches occupational health and
safety courses at UNSL and takes part in outreach projects on
accident prevention.
