Tyler Quinn is an assistant professor at West Virginia
University in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA. He received a PhD
in exercise physiology from the University of Pittsburgh and
completed his pre- and post-doctoral training at the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention’s National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health (CDC/NIOSH). His research
focuses on examining the impacts of occupational demands
including physical activity, psychological stress, environmental
conditions, and personal protective equipment on worker
cardiometabolic health. His research examines the cardiovascular
health impacts of physical activity and psychological stress during
work. These projects have included empirical investigations of
national survey data, large cohort data, as well as experimental
trial data. Dr. Quinn also serves as an associate editor of the
Annals of Work Exposures and Health, the renowned peer-
reviewed journal of the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
