A dedicated physician with over 22 years of working experience in the Nigerian Oil and Gas
Industry.
The National Public Relations Officer of the Society of Occupational and Environmental
Health Physicians of Nigeria (SOEHPON). Former Council Member ACOEM’s Membership
Communication Committee, H.O.D ACOEM’s International Section and the Alternate
Delegate of the International Component Society of Occupational and Environmental
Medicine (ICSOEM) till 2023. Co-authored ACOEM’s Guideline Paper on the ‘Prevention of
Occupational Heat-Related Illnesses’ in 2021, published – ‘Prevalence and Risk Factors of
Obesity among Workers in the Oil and Gas Industry of the Niger Delta Region’; and
‘Prevalence of Psychosocial Stress and Its Risk Factors among Healthcare Workers in
Nigeria: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis’. A member of the ICOH – with SCOHHW
and SCOM.
A Fellow of Occupational Health, and the Institute for Health Insurance and Managed Care
of Nigeria.
