Evangelia Nena MD, PhD is Occupational Medicine Physician
and Associate Professor of Social/ Occupational Medicine at
the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
She is also affiliated with the Department of Occupational
Medicine of the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis,
Greece.
She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki, Greece and received her PhD from the Medical
School of DUTh. She has co-authored 125 PubMed- indexed
publications and 8 medical book chapters. She is Associate
Editor of the Archives of Environmental and Occupational
Health (Taylor & Francis Eds) journal, and also a member of the
Editorial Board of 3 other scientific journals. She participates in
European scientific networks and in nationally- or EU- funded
research projects, as well as in consulting committees/boards of
the Hellenic Ministry of Health.
