Dr Suvarna Moti has specialised with MD, DNB in Preventive & Social
Medicine from Mumbai University and MSc in Global Health Policy
from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has worked
with Reliance Industries and Hindustan Unilever Limited. She was
Journal Secretary associated with relaunch of IJOEM between 1994-
2000 and had been Curriculum Advisor for the Occupational Health
modules in the MPH program of Indian Institutes of Public Health. Her
work experience over 29 years across India, Canada, Romania and
Thailand has been with WHO India & SEARO offices, Tata Memorial
Hospital, Canadian Diabetes Association, UNDP. She has co-edited an
acknowledged technical resource manual, Basic Occupational Health
Services (BOHS) for Informal Industry, and has co-edited a BOHS
Repository, an online bibliographic database referring to publications
on Basic Occupational Health Services and activities in primary or
community health care settings supporting workers' health globally.
