Occupational Physician and PhD by the Autonoma of
University of Madrid – Spain and the Occupational
Health UOHS from Madrid Regional Institute. I worked as
Health Manager for Occupational Health Unit in several
hospitals in Madrid Area. Over 30 years of experience
in health promotion, ergonomics, industrial hygiene,
occupational and environmental medicine, crisis
management and safety. Head of School of Occupational
Medicine (4 years), Professor in post-graduate courses
(15 years): Occupational health on MBA course in 1994.
Proactive participation in professional associations:
Association of Occupational Medicine, Madrid (2003-
2007), Member of ICOH since 2013. Luis has
spoken,written and testified extensively on health
issues,including ergonomics ,prevention bloodborne
exposures,radiations exposures,and chemicals exposure
as well as about the effects of work organization and
was Consultant in the development European Directive
about needelstick injures and Im the general
coordinator about Sudamerican Biosafety Network .
