After obtaining M.B.B.S.Degree and M.D. in Community
Medicine from King George Medical University, Lucknow;
Joined Indian Railways in 1991. Served various places
(Gorakhpur, Fatehgarh, Kanpur and Gonda) and now in
Research Designs and Standards Organisation, Ministry
of Railways,Lucknow as Additional Chief Medical
Superintendent. Worked as medical officer in primary
and secondary health care including occupational and
preventive health specialist in various railway
workshops and work place units. Conducted research on
occular morbidity among school children in Lucknow
during M.D.training, and several research works latter
on, noteworthy to mention are occupational injuries
among Mechanical Workshop employee in Gorakhpur,
Analysis of medical invalidation cases in North Eastern
Railway, Practices of post exposure anti-rabies
vaccination in zonal railways, Occupational Stress
among railway employees, morbidity transition. Findings
presented and shared at national forum, published in
reputed journals.
