Prof. Seong-Kyu Kang is currenty Vice President of ICOH. He served as the member of
Board of ICOH (2009-2015). He was the responsible person of 31st ICOH Seoul Congress.
He is Chair of Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Gachon Un
University Gil Medical Center (GUGMC), Korea. He is an occupational physician and a me
medical epidemiologist.
He studied Family Medicine at Yonsei Severance Hospital in Seoul. He received a Ph.D. in M
Medical Science. He was an Epidemic Intelligence Service(EIS) officer at US NIOSH, CDC(
(95-97). He is interested in occupational eurotoxicity, solvent poisoning, and occupational h
health service.
He has worked for KOSHA from 1992 to 2016 as Vice President for Technology, Director G
General of Seoul Regional Headquater, Director Genenal of Occupational Safety and H
Health Research Insitute (OSHRI), and Director of Occupational Health Department of K
KOSHA.
He is an executive member of KSOEM and a member of Collegium Ramazzini.
