I am an applied Industrial-Organizational
Psychologist/Occupational Health Psychologist and I currently
serve as a Co-Director of the Oregon Healthy Workforce Center
(OHWC), a Total Worker Health® Center of Excellence currently
funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and
Health (NIOSH). I am also the former Director of the Occupational
Health Psychology (OHP) graduate training program funded by
NIOSH at Portland State University. I specialize in the health
effects of supportive supervision at work, and the health
consequences of occupational stress and work-family conflict and
have extensive experience designing, implementing, and evaluating
worksite interventions and supervisor training.
