Dr. Hong is the Director of Occupational and
Environmental Health Nursing Program at University of
California, San Francisco.
She focuses on health and safety in working
populations, including vulnerable populations such as
underserved immigrant workers, noise exposure and
health outcomes, and worksite and community based
behavioral interventions. She has been working on
intervention to prevent hearing loss among
firefighters, and workers in construction and
manusfacuring and airline industry.
