I am Chief Medical Officer of Devon and Cornwall Police and
Head of the National School of Occupational Health in the UK. I
am also Associate Professor of Clinical Organizational Development at Brunel University. I am currently leading a project on workforce planning in occupational health on behalf of Health Education England, in association with the UK Council

Work and Health. Previously, I was Clinical Director of Organisational
Organisational Health and Wellbeing at Imperial College
Healthcare NHS Trust and Director of NHS Plus. I have held a
variety of posts within the Faculty of Occupational Medicine
(Royal College of Physicians of London) and am a past ICOH
Board member.
