Dr. Rupali Das is Medical Director at Zenith Insurance, providing
guidance for appropriate delivery of medical care to workers. She is
Past President of the Western Occupational and Environmental
Medical Association and founder and chair of its Justice, Equity,
Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
Dr. Das received her MD degree from the University of Illinois,
Chicago, and her MPH from the University of California, Berkeley.
She completed a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental
Medicine at UCSF, is board certified in Internal Medicine and
Preventive Medicine/Occupational Medicine, and is a Fellow of the
American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. Das held leadership roles with the State of California at the
Division of Workers' Compensation, California Department of
Public Health, and California EPA.
She is Clinical Professor at UCSF’s Division of Occupational,
Environmental, and Climate Medicine. She is a trustee of Cal
Performances at UC Berkeley.
