Prof. Denny is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Occupational Safety and Health at Diponegoro University, Semarang, Indonesia. Formerly serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, she holds degrees from Indonesia, The Philippines, and the USA, complemented by non-degree OSH courses in The Philippines, Sweden, and Germany. Prof. Denny's research is dedicated to improving Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in informal sectors, small-scale enterprises, and working women. She has presented her work at prestigious events like ICOH Congresses, the IOM in Washington DC, and the World Safety Congress. Engaging with influential organizations such as WHO, GTZ, and ILO, she actively contributes to global OHS initiatives. Her international recognition was further emphasized when she was appointed as one of the panel speakers at ICOH Melbourne 2022, highlighting her expertise and impact of OSH in Informal Sectors.
