I‘m currently employed by Anglo American Limited, as
the Global Lead: Occupational Health and Hygiene
within a multi-skilled Corporate Safety and
Sustainability. I’m a registered professional
Occupational Hygienist by trade and the holder of a
PhD degree in Occupational Health Risk Management from
the Potchefstroom University. I serve on a number of
national and international advisory and technical
committees and have also co-authored a number of
international published articles. Specific areas of
interest include health risk assessment, exposure to
chloroplatinates, nickel and diesel engine emissions.
I’m actively involved in occupational hygiene skills
development and research and is appointed as
Associated Professor in Occupational Hygiene in the
School of Physiology at the North West University,
Potchefstroom, South Africa
