Dr (Mrs) Adaoha Pearl AGU obtained an MBBS from the
University of Lagos(1988), FMCPH from the National
Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria(1998), Master’s
degree in Health Policy and Health Systems from The African
Institute for Health Policy and Health Systems, Ebonyi State
University (2020).
A staff of Ebonyi State University, (EBSU) Abakaliki and an
honorary consultant with Alex-Ekwueme Federal University
Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (AEFUTHA); she is a researcher,
clinician, senior lecturer, and external examiner
(postgraduate) who has worked in the fields of Occupational
Health, Health Policy and Health Systems. She has carried out
and has ongoing projects and trainings in occupational health
and safety in the quarry, sawmill, welding industries amongst
others and in the University and Teaching Hospital. She has
articles in peer-reviewed journals and is the Head of the
Occupational and Environmental Health Unit of the
Department of Community Medicine, EBSU and AEFUTHA.
