The ICOH Secretary-General Dr Diana Gagliardi attended the World Health Assembly
from 18 to 23 May 2026 and delivered an ICOH statement.
The ICOH statement emphasized the role of occupational health as fundamental to public
health, social justice, sustainable development, and economic resilience.
With this statement, ICOH calls for renewed leadership of WHO in occupational health and
stands ready to support WHO in providing, protecting, and promoting health and work
ability through Universal Coverage of Occupational Health Services.

We are pleased to announce that the abstract submission deadline for ICOH 2027 Congress has been extended to 22^nd May to align with the timeline of other sections of the Congress programme.

This extension offers additional time for you to refine your work and submit high-quality abstracts. If you were still working on your submission or needed more time, this is your opportunity to be part of a globally significant scientific program. This extension will also give you more time for planning your participation. The deadline to confirm your participation and register with the early bird registration fee to have your abstract included in the Congress programme and published in the Proceedings will be 15^th August.

In occasion of the ICOH 2027 Congress, a partial fellowship to attend the ILO Master in Occupational Safety and Health 2027-2028 (International Training Centre of the ILO in collaboration with the University of Turin, Italy) will be awarded to three ICOH candidates from low- and middle-income countries who will present a scientific contribution at the congress.

To formalize their candidacy, nominees must send one single email to icoh@inail.it by no later than 14 May 2026, 14:00 CEST. The email must include the following attachments: CV (no more than 150 words), Declaration of Interest Form (available here), written agreement of the nominee that he/she is willing to serve if elected, and endorsement emails as attachments.
