19th International Congress of the Permanent Commission and International Association on Occupational Health (PCIAOH)
In 1978 the Congress is held again in Europe at Dubrovnik (Yugoslavia): for the first time an ICOH triennial congress is held in a country of the socialist area. Contributions are structured over 22 topical sessions plus one for free communications.
Structure of ICOH
Organization for Scientific Committees is empowered, also in compliance with the new Constitution. In the previous triennium “Guidelines for Scientific Committees” had been issued for a better operation of SC. At congress start there are 19 active Committees. There are also four “Advisory Committees”, one of which dedicated to “Scientific Committees”, one to commission finances, one to “membership and Constitution”, and finally one to international congresses.
