The Congress main topic focuses upon the “Challenge of Equity in Safety and Health at Work”.
The Two ICOH's Assemblies within the Congress
During the ICOH General Assembly held within the Congress, on 23/02/2003, a discussion arises on cooperation with other organisations - WHO, IEA, ILO, IOHA, ISSA, WWCS, ICNIRP, IARC.
During the Second General Assembly, held on February 28, 2003, the President highlights the importance of such a cooperation and outlines future development perspectives.
The "Midterm Meeting" of the Scientific Comittee (SC) of ICOH
In the triennium between the Singapore and the Iguassu Congress, the “Midterm Meeting" of ICOH Scientific Committees (SC) is held in Italy (Rome, March 1-3, 2002) jointly and within the celebration of the foundation centennial of the “Clinica del Lavoro” (Milan, 1902)
A revised version of the Code of Ethics is issued in 2002.
During the congress, a Working Group on Code of Ethics is established the day before the General Assembly. The Code of Ethics will be translated also into Spanish and French by 30 May 2003.
