6th International Congress of the Commission Internationale Permanente pour la Médicine du Travail

The 6th International Congress of occupational accidents and diseases is a joint one as well. The two Associations, in the Proceedings named as “Le Comité Permanent International pour l’Étude de la Médecine des Accidents du Travail“ and “La Commission Internationale Permanente pour la Médicine du Travail “, are represented by respective Presidents: F. Zollinger and Luigi Devoto. Besides, an Honorary Presidents is Albert Thomas, thus ratifying a special relationship of the two promoting organizations with ILO, with headquarters in Geneva. This close relationship is further strengthened by the fact that Luigi Carozzi, the Director of the ILO Health and Safety Department, is confirmed as secretary to the Permanent Commission.

Relationships with ILO

Prof. Dr. Balthasard, the President of the Congress organizational French Committee reports that the 1931 Congress (6th International Geneva Congress) can be considered as a sort of highly qualified technical collaborator of ILO.
"Le présent Congrès peut être regardé en quelque sorte comme le collaborateur technique le plus qualifié du Bureau international".
