Report on ICOH Co-operation with ISSA

After discussions with the ISSA lead and the organisers of the ISSA XIVth World Congress on Safety and Health at Work (to be held in Vienna, May 26-31, 2002) it has been agreed that on Monday May 27, 2002

(1) the ICOH President Bengt Knave gives a key-note lecture on the topic "Innovation and Prevention - Consequences on the health and safety of workers" and participates in a Round Table discussion on the topic "What new challenges is prevention faced with?"

(2) the ICOH Vice President Malcolm Harrington chairs a session on "Stress and violence at work; risks to evaluate and manage".

During the autumn and winter 2001/2002 discussions will focus on other possibilities for co-operation, including ISSA participation on the ICOH Congress in Iguassu Falls in February 2003.
