On October 20-22, 2025, the ICOH Midterm Meeting took place in Naples, Italy. The Italian Workers’ Compensation Authority (INAIL) kindly supported ICOH in the organization of the Midterm Meeting, which was hosted in the historical building of Villa Colonna Bandini. The meetings were attended by the ICOH Officers, Board Members, Scientific Committees Chairs and selected National Secretaries, in order to share and discuss the ongoing activities carried on by Scientific Committees, National Secretaries, Task Groups and Working Groups according to the ICOH triennial work plan. October 24, 2025The ICOH webinar “Ensuring Safe and Decent Accommodations for Migrant Workers: a Global Perspective Theme” will be held online on 25 November 2025 from 11.30 a.m. to 13.30 p.m. CET.
ICOH members in good standing will have free access to the event as an additional benefit included in their ICOH membership. Non-ICOH members will be charged a small fee for participation.
Please note that registrations will close one day before the event for ICOH members in good standing. Non-ICOH members must finalize their payment by November 21.
The ICOH President, Prof. Seong-Kyu Kang is representing ICOH at the 113th Session of the ILO’s International Labour Conference taking place from 2 June to 13 June 2025 in Geneva.
On this occasion, President Kang underlined as ICOH strongly urges ILO to restore the ILO/WHO Joint Committee on Occupational Health as an essential
first step.

The International Commission on Occupational Health, the International Ergonomics and Human Factors Association and the Collegium Ramazzini, together representing their individual and collective members from over 100 Countries, join their voices to express great concern about the worrying news of massive layoffs of NIOSH employees, scientists and leadership as well as closing of NIOSH offices, infrastructures and programmes.

We are delighted to announce that, starting from March 2025, the ICOH members in good standing will receive a monthly e-mail providing a comprehensive overview of ICOH and other OSH events and their deadlines. The aim of this new communication is to keep the members updated and to provide them with a reminder of the main events of interests of the ICOH community. We hope for greater promotion and participation in these events.

On 27 March 2025, Dr. Diana Gagliardi, ICOH Secretary-General, visited the ILO International Training Center (ITC) in Turin, Italy. She delivered a lecture within the frame of the ILO Master in Occupational Safety and Health, with a presentation about ICOH.
